HPD takes another report of counterfeit money

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Police continue to take reports of counterfeit money being passed around the city.

An employee of the Kwik Shop along East 30th reported that a person tried to purchase items with a phony $100 bill around 7:30 Tuesday evening.

Although there have been several arrests in connection with the phony money it is still showing up at various businesses. No arrests were made in Tuesday's incident.
