Arnold D. Becker, 84, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 in Wichita. He was born October 18, 1935 in McPherson County, Kansas, the son of Dan H. and Susie (Unruh) Becker.
He was a member of Lone Tree Church in Galva.
Arnold was a grain farmer and carpenter.
He was united in marriage to Twila Schmidt on April 28, 1957 in Fairview, Oklahoma. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his sons, Kendall (Charlene) Becker of Galva, and Delane (Althea) Becker of Canton; daughters, Janet (David) Kurtz of Pipestone, Minnesota, and Kayleen (Kevin) Unruh of Galva; siblings, Viola Unruh of Moundridge, Vernon D. (Elfrieda) Becker of Moundridge, Twila (Cleo) Jantz of Winton, California, and Lovella Koehn of Transylvania, Louisiana; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Joann (Curtis) Unruh of Canton, and Agnes Becker of Scio, Oregon.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; son, Lamonty Ray Becker; grandson, Warren Becker; brothers, Eldon and Clayton Becker; step-mother, Katheryn Becker; and brothers-in-law, Harry Unruh and Jim Koehn.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Lone Tree Church, Galva. Burial will take place following the service at the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, February 19, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Lone Tree Church.
