County Commission to approve bridge funding from KDOT

Posted Feb 17, 2020 11:33 AM

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — It’s a light agenda for the Reno County Commissioners on Tuesday. The lone item on the agenda is action on an agreement with KDOT for a bridge project along Arlington Road.

The bridge that will be replaced is located eight miles east of Arlington. The agreement also calls for the removal of the Sterling Road bridge twelve miles west of Pretty Prairie.

KDOT will reimburse the county for the costs of the projects not to exceed $200,000.

Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Reno County Courthouse.
