
D. Earlene Miller, 95, passed away February 11, 2020 at Hospice House in Hutchinson.
Earlene was born September 28, 1924 in Arkansas City, KS, the daughter of Earl and Gusty (Mitchell) Dickerson.
She graduated in 1942 from Arkansas City High School in Arkansas City, KS. She worked in accounting for Barton Salt and Dillons Corporate. She met David E. Miller in Arkansas City and was married January 1, 1949, to this union they were blessed with two children, Jackie and Reid.
Earlene had many past time hobbies and interests. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing cards, dancing and listening to music. She enjoyed going on cruises and watching sports, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband David; a brother, Weldon Dickerson and a granddaughter Sherri Lynn Stanford.
Earlene is survived by her daughter, Jackie Lynn Mann; a son, Reid and wife Karen Miller; grandchildren, Kara and husband Paul Kuder, Mark and wife Staci Mann, Stephanie and husband Rob Hyden, Jessica and husband Jonathan Guinn, Paula Miller, David Miller and Fiancée Ashley, and Andy and wife Asama Curtis; great grandchildren, Noah Kuder, Hannah Kuder, Adam Curtis, Ayden Curtis, Ian Guinn, and Sopie Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dog, Alex.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. with family present to greet friends from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Tim Carey officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Memorials may be given to Reno County Hospice and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
