
Release from Hutchinson Police Department
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A recent undercover sting operation by the Hutchinson Police Department resulted in two child sex crime arrests.
On June 16th, members of the Special Operations and Investigation Bureau of the Hutchinson Police Department made two arrests through a series of undercover sting operations targeting child predators.
The suspects believed they were speaking with underage children and showed up to meet the children to engage in sexual activity, only to be met by officers of the Hutchinson Police Department.
At approximately 7:05 p.m. on the 16th, 33-year-old Patrick E. Samms of Hutchinson was arrested for Electronic Solicitation and Indecent Solicitation of a child.
At approximately 9:02 p.m. that same night, 41-year-old Adam D. Winsky of McPherson, KS was arrested for Electronic Solicitation, Indecent Solicitation of a child, Interference with Law Enforcement, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving While Suspended.
Investigations into further child predators are ongoing.
