ROOKS COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Friday in Rooks County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Dodge Ram driven by Mark A. Hays, 59, Woodston, was southbound on 25 Road just north of U.S. 24 six miles east of Stockton.
The pickup veered left off the roadway and struck a tree.
Hays was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Plumer-Overlease Mortuary. The KHP did not have information on seat belt usage.
