 </figure>HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The school year has passed the halfway point in USD 308. And second-trimester Parent-Teacher Conferences for Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Middle School students will be Thursday, Jan. 16.Hutchinson High School will have conferences from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Salthawk Activity Center. Hutchinson Middle School will have conferences from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at both HMS campuses. Conferences at secondary schools are done in arena style. Parents meet with teachers in a common area. If further discussions are needed, individual appointments can be set up.There will be no school for HHS or HMS on either Jan. 16 or 17. Additionally, there are no conferences on Jan. 17.The second set of elementary and middle school parent-teacher conferences will not occur until the week of Feb. 17. Classes for pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade students will be in session on Jan. 16. Jan. 17, however, is a professional development day for Pre-K through sixth-grade staff, and there will be no classes for students.
