The state of Kansas will see a winter storm that has a negative effect on travel through early Saturday.The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Rice, Reno and Kingman counties from noon today to 4 a.m. Saturday. McPherson County is under a Winter Storm Warning during the same period.AccuWeather says there will be some precipitation this afternoon in Hutchinson. Roads and sidewalks will be slippery. Precipitation could start in the early afternoon.Not much accumulation is expected in the Hutchinson area, but several inches of snow could fall further to the north and east.
