HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Board of Directors at First National Bank of Hutchinson announced leadership changes on Thursday.
The Board of Directors announced that Keith Hughes, former Chief Executive Officer, was promoted to Chairman of the Board. Hughes has progressed through the banking industry, previously holding the title of Chief Lending Officer. Hughes has had a 35-year career in banking and serves on The Kansas Bankers Association Board of Directors, acting as the finance chair.
The Board of Directors also announced that Troy Hutton has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer. In 2013, Hutton was hired as Senior Vice President and Assistant Chief Lending Officer. Since then, he became Chief Lending Officer.
Darrel Miller was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of the bank. Miller was hired to The First in 2018 and specializes in commercial and agricultural lending.
R.A. Edwards, former Chairman of the Board and President and CEO of First National Bank, will remain active on the Board of Directors; along with Greg Binns, former President and COO.
