Roxie Lyn Hamby, 62, died January 5, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born November 28, 1957, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Raymond and Rosy (Goff) Seeger.
Roxie was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping at garage sales and watching old TV shows. She also loved to cook. But most of all, Roxie loved caring for her husband, Scott. She was of the Christian faith.
On December 20, 1975, Roxie married Scott W. Hamby in Hutchinson. They shared 44 years of marriage. He survives.
Also surviving are siblings: Victoria Seeger, Rayma Seeger, Lewis Seeger, Roger Seeger, all of Hutchinson, Darrin Seeger of Lakin; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frankie Ray Goff.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary.
