HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Although the Reno County Commission will have a pretty brief meeting Tuesday, the highlight of the day may come afterward when commissioners meet with state legislative members from Reno County.

This will be to discuss and hear comments from those members about the upcoming legislative session and their concerns and desires over legislation that may come up in Topeka next month.

That meeting is scheduled for around 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Veterans Room in the Reno County Courthouse.

Before that, commissioners will have their agenda meeting with only one action item. That includes a proposal from Restoration and Waterproofing Contractors to make temporary exterior masonry repairs to the courthouse dome at a base price of $24,300.

The commission will also discuss the Buhler Flood Study.

The Reno County Commission meeting starts at 9 a.m. in the commission chambers in the courthouse.
