HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Commission will have a number of items on the agenda Tuesday.

That includes a letter authorizing Transportation Department Director Barbara Lilyhorn to sign documents and certificates with the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Commissioners will also consider a letter of endorsement for the Department of Public Transportation’s grant project for the purchase of three low-floor ADA compliant transit buses at $390,000 with 80% being paid by federal dollars and a 20% match.

The commission will also consider an agreement with Cook, Flatt and Strobel for engineering services for work on 56th and 82nd, and over holes and washouts because of flooding this year. Total cost of the contract is for $34,950.

Commissioners will also go back to the discussion about possible Reno County zoning for primarily the southeast part of the county.

The commission will also get a department update from Reno County Youth Services.

The Reno County Commission meeting starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Reno County Courthouse.
