Ray Gene Zang |1942-2021|

Pratt - Ray Gene Zang, 78, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at his home. He was born on December 22, 1942 in El Dorado to Lloyd June and Geraldine (Lee) Zang. Ray married Debra (Greenstreet) Zang on July 18, 1981 at Pratt Free Methodist Church. They were married for 40 years.

Ray graduated from El Dorado High School in 1960. He worked for Halliburton for 25 years. He was a member of El Dorado Elks Lodge #1407 and American Legion. He enjoyed traveling, camping, lake time, family time and drinking beer.

He is survived by his wife, Deb of Pratt; daughters, Toni Rae (Lynn) Perez, Laci Lyn Brown and Jennifer Annette Zang all of Pratt; sister, Debra Jean (Norman) Kirk of Ardmore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Reiley Adison Perez, Cade Ray Perez, Halley Lyn Perez, Darren Cody Brown, Heather Nicole Brown, Bailey Raeann (Robby Eggleston) Christensen, Kaylee Lynn Brown, Kiley Ann Zang, Abigail Brooke Zang, Madison Rose Zang and Brylee Shay Zang; and great-grandchildren, Amy Hammerschmidt and Rhett Eggleston.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lori Ann Zang; brother, Lloyd Lee Zang; sister, Sheryl Zang; and son in-law, Curtis Brown.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the book Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 16, 2021 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt with John Hamm presiding. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
