HAVEN — The Haven USD 312 summer food service program will begin Tuesday, May 31st.
The district will be handing out sack lunches at Haven Grade School, Yoder Charter School and the Mt. Hope Swimming Pool from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
On Thursdays, two breakfasts and two lunches per child will be handed out to account for Friday.
It is best, especially on Thursdays, to bring a backpack or wagon to transport the additional meals.
The program will run until July 29th. There will be no meals July 4th and 5th.
The Haven program was a winner of a USDA Turnip the Beet Gold Award in April.
