PRATT COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Monday in Pratt County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 GMC Acadia driven by David R.&nbsp;Ellison, 79, Pratt was westbound in the right lane of U.S. 54 ten miles east of Pratt, behind a 2025 Kenworth semi.&nbsp; The SUV struck the trailer of the&nbsp; semi as the semi turned left across the highway.

EMS transported Ellison and a passenger Peggy D. Ellison, 72, Pratt, to Pratt Regional Medical Center. The semi driver from California was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
