&nbsp;Dennis’ life began on November 15, 1954, the son of Santiago “Sandy” and Constance “Connie” Marie (Bargas) Mascareno in Herington. He graduated from Herington High, Class of 1972. Dennis was disabled from a car accident when he was 17 years old. He worked for the railroad and also put together boxes for a clothing store in Herington. He loved his family and enjoyed cars. His loving family includes his mother, Connie Mascareno of Manhattan; brother, Tim Mascareno and his fiancé Wendy Collier of Auburn, Nebraska; sister, Diana Mascareno of Council Grove; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Sandy in 2000 and an infant brother, Michael. Dennis passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the age of 66 years old. Rosary and Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Merlin Kieffer officiating at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home in Herington. Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington.&nbsp;&nbsp;
