
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Community Foundation has announced leadership transitions and three new additions to its board of directors.
Jon Richardson has assumed the role of board chair, while Shane Iwashige will serve as vice chair.
Richardson joined the board in 2020 and succeeds Dashona Mahoney, whose three-year term as board chair expired in 2025. Mahoney, a board member since 2017, will continue serving as immediate past board chair. Iwashige joined the board in 2023.
Abby Stockebrand has also moved into a new leadership role, taking over as treasurer. A board member since 2022, Stockebrand replaces Michelle Inskeep, whose five-year term on the board expired in December.
The foundation also announced three new members of its board: Patricia Macke Dick, John Fan and Darrell Pankratz.
Macke Dick retired in January 2025 after 36 years as a Kansas district court judge in Reno County, including 18 years as chief judge. Before serving on the bench, she was a partner at Branine, Chalfant & Hill in Hutchinson.
She has served in numerous national, state and local professional organizations, including the Kansas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees, the Kansas Council of Chief Judges and the Kansas District Judges Association, where she served as president. She also was appointed by the U.S. Supreme Court to the S.R.S. Liaison Committee.
Locally, Macke Dick serves on the Victory Village board of directors, volunteers with Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County and is a member of PEO Chapter JR. Her past service includes boards and organizations such as the Ulster Project of Hutchinson, Hutchinson Hospital, the Mid-Kansas Mennonite Central Committee Relief Sale, the Hutchinson Salvation Army and Buhler Sunshine Home. She also previously served on the Buhler City Council.
John Fan is a physician, shareholder and department vice chairman at Hutchinson Clinic.
His professional affiliations include the Society of Chinese American Physician Entrepreneurs and the Medical Executive Committee of Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He has also volunteered for 20 years with the Central Kansas Polio Survivors Support Group and has participated in various state and national professional boards, committees and societies.
Fan attended Zhongshan University School of Medicine.
Pankratz is executive chairman of AVE-PLP LLC. He owned and managed Pankratz Implement Co. from 1989 to 2008 before merging with Prairieland Partners LLC, where he served as chief executive officer for six years.
Before entering the agriculture industry, Pankratz worked as an administrator at Ulysses High School.
He remains active in the community, serving as an independent director at First National Bank. His past public service includes time as a Hutchinson Community College trustee and as a member of the KANSASWORKS board.
