RENO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Tristin G. Sheets, 20, Kingman, was traveling northeast on Kansas 61 south of Will Street in Turon.
The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle and rider came to rest in the ditch south of the highway. EMS transported Sheets to Ascension Via Christi St. Francis. He was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
