HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of Hutchinson has officially transitioned to a new website address, hutchinsonks.gov, in an effort to strengthen digital security and more clearly identify official city communications.
The change, which took effect this week, includes updates to the city’s website and, soon, its email addresses. All city email addresses will eventually end in @hutchinsonks.gov. Current email addresses will continue to function during the transition period.
This update not only helps protect resident information but also makes it easier for people to recognize official messages from the City of Hutchinson the city said in a Facebook post.
City officials are encouraging residents to update their bookmarks and contact lists to reflect the new domain.
