Hutchinson Community College sophomore Noelle Anthon became the first Blue Dragon this season to earn KJCCC Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors.

A 6-foot-2 sophomore forward from Oconomowac, Wisconsin, was the leading scorer for the No. 19-ranked Blue Dragons in victories over Pratt and Fort Hays Tech Northwest last week.

Anthon averaged 15.0 points and 8.- rebounds to lead the Blue Dragons. She shot 70 percent from the field (14 of 20) for the week.

Anthon score a career-high 19 points on 9 of 10 shooting in an 86-47 victory at Pratt last Wednesday. She also had seven rebounds against the Beavers.

In Hutchinson's 77-55 victory over Fort Hays Tech Northwest on Saturday at the Sports Arena, Anthon had 11 points and just missed a double-double with nine rebounds.

Anthon is the first Blue Dragon since Haley Jackson to earn league Player of the Week honors on February 18, 2025.

This week the No. 18-ranked Blue Dragons travel to Garden City on Wednesday and play host to No. 8 Butler on Saturday.
