BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler USD 313 Board of Education gave approval to two changes in curriculum during Monday's meeting. The first would make choir a mandatory class in 7th grade at Prairie Hills Middle School. The Board also approved adding a food science course to the agriculture class curriculum.
The Board also approved the status quo for attending extra curricular activities. That means the home team participants can have four fans in attendance while visitors can have two. The attending fans are expected to attend during their student's activity only and leave the event when their student is finished.
The Board also announced that they would not be taking any legal action against the former auditing firm for the district. The district appointed a new firm after the previous one was not properly disclosing issues related to the District’s health care reserve fund.
Since the matter has been held in executive session throughout, no further information was released.
