RENO COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Friday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Hyundai Azera driven by Tori Tustian, 17, Hutchinson, was traveling on 82nd Street one mile west of Buhler. The car rear-ended a 2013 Mazda 3 driven by Wesley Freeman, 18, Buhler, who hit his brakes for an object in the road. The impact pushed the Mazda into oncomming traffic. The Mazda struck a 2018 Subaru Outback driven by Jacklin Lambert, 47, Citris Heights, California, head-on.
EMS transported Lambert and Freeman to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Tustian was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
