Harold ‘Dean’Rasor, 83, of Hutchinson, died Jan. 10, 2021. He was born April 1, 1937, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Otto and May (Casteel) Rasor.

Dean worked as a truck driver, working the last 24 years for Dillons, before retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, watching the deer and birds, as well as hunting. Dean loved to tease his grandchildren and attend their sporting events. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

On December 21, 1958, Dean married Nancy Shaw, in Great Bend. She passed away November 4, 2004. On Aug. 24, 2008, he married Bonnie Simkins. She survives.

Dean is survived by wife, Bonnie Simkins, Texas; daughter, Pam Barten (Steve), Lander, Wyoming; son, Robert Rasor (Lorinda), Hutchinson; daughter, Shelly Rasor, Hutchinson; three grandchildren, Jordan Rasor, Maddison Rayl, and Baylee Pickering.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Nancy Rasor.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Tim Adrian officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
