Basil Dean Howell, 86, of Hutchinson, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his home. He was born on December 29, 1934, in Texas, the son of Joe and Mary Howell.
He was united in marriage to Alta Marie Moran on August 22, 1959. She preceded him in death on January 28, 2016.
Dean worked oil rigs while in Texas. He worked for Eaton Corporation in Hutchinson until he retired.
He is survived by his four sons, Michael, Alan, Joil and Lee Howell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Lynetta Breeland.
Cremation is planned with Buhler Mortuary handling arrangements.
