Cunningham- Effie Darlene (Simonson) Schreck, 86, died Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Grand Plains Skilled Nursing in Pratt. She was born April 10, 1935 at Acres, Kansas, the daughter of Jason Burnard (Skeet) and Elsie Lunsford Simonson. A Cunningham resident most of her life she was a retired USD #332 teacher &amp; former Democratic council woman. She belonged to the Methodist Church &amp; was a member of Catholic Church of Cunningham. On August 29, 1953, she married Harold L Schreck at St. Leo, Kansas. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1991. Survivors include two sons, Michael Blaine Schreck of Cunningham and Steven Laine Schreck of Pratt; brother, Burnard (Coleen) Simonson of Pratt; sister, Besies Gilliland of McCook, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Dr. Dan Erickson) Erickson of Murrieta, California, Kathryn Christine Schreck of San Bernadino, California, Thomas Allen Schreck of Pratt and Lyndsey Lee Schreck of Wichita. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Cunningham Public Library in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.&nbsp;&nbsp;
