MCPHERSON, Kan. — Everything was going the Hutchinson Salthawks' way in the consolation bracket game versus Manhattan as they took a seven point, 50-43 lead into the final quarter, but the Indians had other ideas as Manhattan rallied to outscore the Salthawks 20 to 11 to take away the win 63-61.

Hutchinson jumped out early and at one time enjoyed a 13 point 24-11 lead at the start the second quarter, but allowed Manhattan to gain momentum cutting the Salthawk lead to 11 at the half.

The Salthawks had an opportunity to get the win but Jalen Crable's three point attempt from the far right corner was a just barley off at the buzzer.

Hutch High was lead again by sophomore Lamar Govain with 20 points, King had 14 points,  Taishaun Govain also contributed 7 points.

Manhattan was led by Vince Doering with 17 points. 11 of those came in the final quarter. Landon Knopp had 12 and Will Carpenter scored 10.
