JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Texas woman on drug charges after a traffic stop.
Just before 4a.m. Sunday, a sheriff’s deputy stopped a Honda passenger car near 142nd and U.S. Highway 75 for a traffic infraction, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The driver, Megan Michelle Brown, 26, of Dallas, Texas was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of cocaine and possession of a hallucinogenic drug.
