🏀 KBCA releases final basketball rankings of regular season

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association released its final boys and girls basketball rankings of the 2025-26 season Tuesday, with several Hutch Post area teams finishing the regular season in the top 10 of their respective classifications.

Sterling closed the regular season ranked No. 1 in Class 2A boys, while Little River topped Class 1A Division I. Hesston finished No. 2 in Class 3A and Pratt checked in at No. 3 in Class 4A. On the girls side, Little River earned the No. 1 ranking in Class 1A Division I, Hutchinson Central Christian finished No. 1 in Class 1A Division II and Halstead at No. 2 in Class 3A. Moundridge also remained ranked in both the boys and girls 2A polls.

Rankings are voted on by KBCA member coaches and the Feb. 17 release marks the final poll of the season.
