In recognition of Suicide Prevention Month, the Reno County Suicide Prevention Coalition is inviting community members to take part in its 2nd Annual Reflection Walk. The event will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Dillon Nature Center, Taylor’s Shady Lane Cabin.
The Reflection Walk offers participants the opportunity to engage in a self-guided walk through nature—an experience designed to encourage self-care, healing, and quiet reflection. Organizers hope the event will provide comfort and support for those who have lost loved ones to suicide, while also raising awareness about prevention efforts throughout Reno County.

Attendees are invited to bring photographs of their loved ones to display on a “Remembrance Wall,” creating a space to honor and remember those lost.
In addition to providing a moment of reflection, the event will highlight how Reno County is working to support suicide loss survivors and to prevent future tragedies through education, resources, and community engagement.
The event is sponsored by the Reno County Suicide Prevention Coalition in partnership with Rise Up Reno Prevention Network.
