Last season, he made the Giants Opening Day roster and was the only member of San Francisco’s bullpen to remain on the active roster all season. He went 4-3 with 3 saves in a career-high 54 appearances and recorded at least 4 outs in 26 of those outings (48.1%). He was especially good down the stretch, going 2-0 with 3 saves and a 2.89 ERA (9 ER in 28.0 IP) in his final 19 appearances.
