Kansas Drought Monitor shows Reno Co. abnormally dry

Most of the southwestern and southeastern parts of the state are not in a drought condition this week, according to the latest Drought Monitor from the USDA.

Reno County is classified as abnormally dry, with portions of Rice and McPherson counties under moderate drought. Only a small portion of far northwest Kansas is in severe drought.
