A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. this evening for northwest winds gusting up to 45 mph for Russell, Lincoln, Barton, Ellsworth, Rice and Reno Counties.
The strongest winds are expected from late this morning through early this evening.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
