Caring Hands Humane Society is excited to launch Clear the Shelter Week from Saturday, August 9th through Saturday, August 16, 2025. Caring Hands is calling on the community to help “Clear the Shelter.” Adoption fees will be waived for ALL adoptable pets in efforts to find loving homes for EVERY dog and cat in our care.
Each day we will have an event including Read & Paint with Pets, Wet Wags Pool Day at the Halstead Swimming Pool, Coffee on the Catio, Adventure Tail Day, Wag & Dash Field Day, and Sno-Cone Saturday with The Chill!\
Interested adopters can visit the website www.caringhandshs.org to see available pets. Staff and volunteers will be available to help match adopters with the perfect pet.

Where: 1400 SE 3rd Street, Newton, KS
Hours: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (closed 12:30 - 1:30 pm for lunch)
Adoption Fees: $0, Donations accepted ($20 holding fee for any animal that is not spayed or neutered)
