UDPATE: The story has been updated to correct the details of the crash.LEAVENWORTH COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 5 a.m. Friday in Leavenworth County.The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Honda Accord driven by&nbsp;Kenneth J Sallaz, 35, Tonganoxie, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 24-40 just west of 150th Street in Basehor in the right lane going highway speeds. The driver was not able to stop in time before rear-ending a 2008 Victory Vegas motorcycle driven by Larry S. Smith, 50, of Bonner Springs.EMS transported Smith and a passenger on the motorcycle, identified as&nbsp; Tamra S. Walters, 46, Tonganoxie, to KU Medical Center where Walters died.Sallaz was not injured.&nbsp; Smith and Walters were not wearing helmets, according to the KHP.
