
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two planning cases are part of Tuesday’s Reno County Commission meeting.
The first is from Yoder Metal, who is requesting a conditional use permit to expand the company’s production facility at 9611 Yoder Rd. The proposed expansion would include a 100’ x 200’ production facility near the intersection of Yoder and Red Rock roads. The Planning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend approval of the permit.
The second matter is a conditional use permit from Cheney Lake Storage. The owner wants to build two 16’ by 72’ extensions to an existing storage facility at 8812 Boundary Rd. The request also gained 7-0 approval from the Planning Commission.
Also Tuesday, the board will get the weekly report on the pandemic and hear the weekly reports. Tuesday’s meeting of the Reno County Commission begins at 9 a.m. at the Reno County Courthouse.
