KBI: Silver Alert cancelled; missing Pratt man found safe

GOVE COUNTY – The Pratt Police Department reported that 79-year-old James Flummerfelt, the subject of a statewide silver alert, was located by the Gove County Sheriff’s Office in Gove County. He was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.

PRATT COUNTY – The Pratt Police Department requested that the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Pratt man.

The whereabouts of James “Jim” E. Flummerfelt, 79, are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate him, according to a media release from the KBI.

Jim is a white male, 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes. If anyone sees Flummerfelt or his vehicle, please immediately call the Pratt Police Department at (620) 672-5551.
