Hutchinson CC Sports Information
Saturday's Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team's neutral site match against Otero College has been canceled.
The game was scheduled to be played at Liberal High School in Liberal on Saturday.
Because of excessive heat forecast for Saturday – the high in Liberal is supposed to be 103 degrees – the game was called off.
The 20th-ranked Blue Dragons, who defeated NOC-Enid 6-1 on Thursday in the season opener at the Salthawk Sports Complex, will next play on Wednesday when Hutchinson plays host to Garden City in the Jayhawk Conference opener in a 6 p.m. game at the Salthawk Sports Complex.
The Hutchinson-Otero game isn't expected to be rescheduled.
