Sylvia M. (Reusser) Vogt, 86, of Moundridge, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at Pine Village. She was born May 16, 1935 in Drake Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of Willard E. and Constance (Fast) Reusser.
Sylvia was a graduate of Deer Creek High School with the class of 1953 in Deer Creek, Oklahoma.
She was united in marriage to Marlin R. Vogt on December 13, 1958 at Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2007.
Sylvia was a homemaker. She and her husband, Marlin, worked together, farming, raising the family, and doing custodial work at Eden Mennonite Church, where they were members.
She is survived by her daughters, Deanne Loganbill and her husband, Bob of Moundridge, and Cindy Vogt-Anderson and her husband Nick; son, Royce Vogt and his wife Marla; sister Rachel Kahle of Blackwell, OK; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband; parents; great-grandchild, Huk Vogt; and sister, Ellen Becker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Eden Mennonite Church, Moundridge. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may pay their respects to Sylvia from 3 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 9, with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moundridge Funeral Home.
