Luella Marie Waterman |1941-2022|

Luella Marie Waterman, 80, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Leisure Homestead in Stafford. She was born on September 13, 1941 in Valley Township, Rural Pratt County to Elroy Jacob and Novadea Martha (League) Bowers. Luella married Charles Waterman on December 26, 1990. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2014.

Luella graduated from Cunningham High School in 1959. She worked as a CNA for Harry Hynes Hospice and several nursing homes, managed Love's convenient store and worked at Cessna. She enjoyed flower gardening, watching birds, reading, attending church and spending time with her family. She was an avid coffee drinker.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Allen (Andrea) Oller of Loma, Colorado, Curtis Eugene (Susan) Oller of Pratt and Cynthia Elaine (Kenny) Reyes of Sylvia; brothers, Darrell (Carol) Bowers of Pawhuska, Oklahoma and Ora (Janice) Bowers of Fayetteville, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Dayna (Chris) Smart of Florida; stepson, Clay (Christie) Waterman of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Luella is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Houston Waterman; and sister, Y Vonne Shelman.

Friends may sign the book Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, 2022 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt with Pastor Clint Tyler presiding. Burial will follow at Cairo Cemetery, Cairo.
