Larry Norman Jayne was born February 16, 1951, to George Edward “Shorty” and Kathrine Croute Jayne in Kingman. He attended Kingman schools until the family moved to Salina, Kansas in 1969, where he graduated from high school. Larry later attended University of Houston and worked in the construction trade as a concrete finisher and later as a crane operator until his retirement. He lived most of his life in Texas until returning to Kingman in 2017. Larry went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2022, at Wheatlands Healthcare Center in Kingman, Kansas. He was 71 years of age.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Loren Jayne and Edward Jayne. Survivors include stepsister Marietta: stepbrothers Gary, and Andrew; daughter Cindy; sons Larry, Travis and Casey; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grand child, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the Kingman Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home. Burial will be at Walnut Hill cemetery, Kingman.
