WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow accumulations of several inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth to a quarter of an inch possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Central, South-Central and Southeast Kansas.
* WHEN...From Thursday evening through Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Precipitation will begin as freezing rain and sleet before changing to snow across much of central and portions of south-central Kansas Thursday night and early Friday.
