RENO COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 7a.m. Tuesday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Chevy Cruz driven by Robert W. Cooper, 77, Haven was eastbound on Arlington Road. The driver failed to yield at a posted stop sign at Kansas 96. The Chevy struck a southeast bound 2014 Ford Taurus driven by Jonathan E Lane, 58, Hutchinson, on the driver side. After impact both vehicles came to rest in the center crossover.
EMS transported Cooper and a passenger in the Chevy Kathleen A. Cooper, 75, Haven, to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Lane was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
