Lucille L. Preisser, 92, of South Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at Mennonite Friendship Community. She was born July 30, 1928 in Bazine, Kansas, the daughter of Antonious M. and Susanna (Schneider) Dechant.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ost, Kansas.

Lucille was united in marriage to Charles F. Preisser on September 2, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2004.

She was a devoted homemaker and farm wife.

Lucille is survived by her children, Gerry (Del) Milburn of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Marilyn (Kim) Forbes of Hutchinson, Donald Preisser of Broomfield, Colorado, and Cindy (David) Snodgrass of Haven; seven grandchildren, Doug, Alisha, Joshua, Amy, Philip, Jared and Dylan; ten great-grandchildren, Wesley, Madison, Riley, Cole, Violet, Faith, Penelope, Valerie, Cody and Penelope; and great-great-granddaughter, Lexlyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kenneth; grandson, Joseph Snodgrass; and eight siblings.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 29, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13015 E Maple Grove Road, Mt. Hope, Kansas, 67108. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Due to the COVID pandemic, there will not be a reception following the funeral. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m., Friday, May 28, at Ott Funeral Home, followed by family greeting friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Friday, May 28, at the church.
