Case count at 1027, with 814 in community as of Sunday evening

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County overall case count is at 1027 as of Sunday evening. The death count among Reno County residents is at 43.

The Correctional Facility cluster type has 231 active cases measured by the county's COVID-19 dashboard. The Long Term Care Facility cluster type has 45 active cases, but has been responsible for 13 deaths. There are 44 active clusters in the county.

There are 814 cases in the community at large.

Thirty-seven people are in the hospital. One hundred seventy-five total have been hospitalized. Sixty-five have been admitted to the ICU and 21 have been intubated. These are Reno County resident numbers regardless of where they are hospitalized.

The community's positive test rate is holding at 18.57%, with the overall positive test rate at 25.85%. 25.09% of the population has been tested.
