For the 203rd time, the Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons and Butler Grizzlies will meet in men's basketball.

This time, the Blue Dragons (5-2, 0-1 KJCCC) travel to play the Grizzlies (5-2, 1-0) at 4 p.m. Saturday at Butler's Power Plant in El Dorado.

The game will be broadcast live beginning at 3:45 p.m. on Blue Dragon flagship station KHUT-FM (102.9) and on sister stations KWBW-AM/FM (1450/98.5) with Glen Grunwald (PBP) calling the action. The game will also be streamed on Butler Creative TV at 3:45 p.m.

The Blue Dragons have the same challenge they did on Wednesday against Garden City at the Sports Arena ... that's to slow down one of the nation's highest scoring offenses. The Dragons held No. 2 Garden City 29 points under its scoring average. Butler is third in the NJCAA in scoring offense at 107.3 points per game.

The Blue Dragons enter the rivalry game on Saturday smarting after dropping its conference opener 84-76 on Wednesday to Garden City at the Sports Arena. The Dragons saw an eight-point second-half lead disappear with only two made field goals down the stretch.

Kyrell Shaw had 21 points, Bobby Cannon had 20 points and Lolo Rudolph posted his first career double-double with 10 points and 11 assists.

The Blue Dragons look to avoid their first 0-2 start to a league season since the 2005-06 season.

Butler enters play on a huge high after a 98-75 victory over No. 3 Coffeyville at Coffeyville. The Grizzlies shot 51.4 percent for the out and outscored the Red Ravens 54-39 in the second half.

Tristan Hankins leads five Grizzlies in double figures with 14.4 points per game. Xavier Brown - the win brother of Blue Dragon women's basketball guard Whitney Brown - comes off the bench and averages 13.1 points per game.

The Grizzlies are shooting 46.9 percent overall and are averaging 14.1 made 3-pointers per game while shooting 36.1 percent from distance.

Last season Hutchinson and Butler met three times with a combined winning margin of give total points in those three games. The Blue Dragons won 73-70 at El Dorado and hit a buzzer-beater at the Sports Arena for a 64-63 win. The Grizzlies upended the Blue Dragons 74-73 in the quarterfinals of the Region 6 Tournament.
