HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson City Council will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at Memorial Hall to gather community feedback on the future of the historic building.
City leaders are considering two options for Memorial Hall: selling the property to a private developer for adaptive reuse or demolishing the structure to create a public green or gathering space.
Officials say the meeting is an important opportunity for residents to share their views and help shape the future of the site. A facilitation plan for the event is still being finalized to ensure that all voices are heard.
