RENO COUNTY, Kan. — One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening in northern Reno County.
According to authorities, the crash was reported at approximately 7:04 p.m. on April 24 at the intersection of 95th Avenue and Plum Avenue. Reno County deputies responded along with Reno County EMS and the Hutchinson Fire Department.
Upon arrival, emergency crews found a 2012 Lincoln MKZ and a 2018 Ford F-250 in the west ditch, both facing west.
A preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the Lincoln, identified as Isaiah Suter-Tan, was traveling northbound and attempted to turn west into a driveway, pulling into the path of the southbound Ford F-250 driven by Parker Dear.
Suter-Tan sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to a Wichita hospital for treatment. Authorities reported that all three occupants of the F-250 were not injured.
Both vehicles were removed from the scene.
Investigators say alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation
