HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Kansas State Fair Board will hold its orientation meeting prior to the fair on Thursday afternoon at 2:15 p.m. in the board room on the Kansas State Fairgrounds.
On the agenda for that meeting is potential race dates for 2025, along with various orientation related matters, including security, travel reimbursement, golf cart protocol, media protocol, board events and approvals for alcohol sales for September and October events.
The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation and the Fair Board will also have a supper meeting in the new 1861 Club at 6 p.m. Thursday.
