Norita Larson, 96, passed away on July 10, 2021, at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community. She was born September 26, 1924, Southwest of Walnut, KS on the family farm to Fred and Nellie (Fitzpatrick) Mullin. She graduated from Walnut High School.
She belonged to Holy Cross Catholic Church, St. Veronicas’ Circle and Holy Cross Alter Society. On April 19, 1948, she married Alvin Larson in Dodge City, KS.
Survivors are two daughters, Karen Puskas (John) of Conifer, CO, and Carol Byington (Dart) of Elizabeth, CO, three granddaughters, Susan Puskas Lawson, Kari Puskas Johnson, and Sarah Byington Murrell. She has one surviving sister, Helen Lagazzino of Portland, OR.
She was preceded in death by her husband Al, her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Parish Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021, and Mass of Christian Burial will follow the rosary at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Hutchinson, KS, with Father Aaron Spexarth presiding. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Hutchinson, KS.
