HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Sheriff's Office passed along the link to the Kansas Department of Labor's fraud division in a Facebook post on Thursday.
They let readers of their page know that if they are a victim, they can enter their information at https://www.dol.ks.gov/fraud and receive a police case number that can be used to place a fraud alert with credit bureaus or given to financial institutions, if they ask for it.
If the Department is able to pinpoint a suspect, they will pass that along to local agencies.
